U potrazi za izgubljenim zvukom autorsko je djelo Mirne Gott i Bojana Gagića, koje istražuje promjene u vrstama zvukova koji čine zvučnu sliku grada, bile one rezultat promjena u načinu života i socijalnim interakcijama, obilnog korištenja elektroničkih naprava te dostupnosti svega potrebnog za život ili u novije doba, fizičke izolacije uzrokovane pandemijom. Odabrani zvukovi dobili su osobne priče putem kojih im se daje kontekst jedne svakodnevice te na taj način pozivaju na emotivnu reakciju publike. Cilj projekta je sačuvati neke od upečatljivih zvukova grada Zagreba i udahnuti im novi život.
Ovaj projekt sufinanciran je od Ministarstva kulture i medija Republike Hrvatske, a provodi ga Zaviri u priču, udruga za kulturu i umjetnost.
In Search of the Lost Sound is a project by Mirna Gott and Bojan Gagić, which explores changes in the types of sounds that make up the sound image of the city, whether they are the result of changes in lifestyle and social interactions, excessive use of electronic devices and availability of everything necessary, or in recent years, physical isolation caused by the pandemic. Selected sounds are given personal stories through which they are set in the context of everyday life, thus inviting the audience's emotional reaction. The project aims to preserve some of the specific sounds of the city of Zagreb and breathe new life into them.
This project is being cofounded by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia., and is being realized through the Peek into the Story, society for culture and art.

Neki je dan netko nenadano pozvonio na vrata. Drrrrrrriiiiiin! Bez najave. Nisam nikoga očekivala, pa me uhvatio nespremnu. Pomislila sam kako se dostavljači najave porukom, a čak i majke su se upristojile, pa zovu umjesto da banu, kao nekad.
Na brzinu sam navukla kućni ogrtač preko pidžame, koju još nisam presvukla iako je podne prošlo i približila se vratima. Tko je? - pitala sam sramežljivo, ali dovoljno glasno da se čuje s druge strane vrata.

Doorbell
The other day someone suddenly rang the doorbell. Rrrrrrriiiiiing! Unannouncemed. I wasn’t expecting anyone, so it caught me off guard. I thought that the deliverers announced themselves with a message, and even the mothers were more polite these days, and called instead of just showing up at the door.
I quickly put on the bathrobe over my pajamas, as I had not yet changed, although noon had passed, before I approached the door. Who is it? I asked in a shy voice, but just loud enough to be heard on the other side of the door.
