Mirna Gott rođena je u Zagrebu. Od 16. godine školuje se u Velikoj Britaniji (puna stipendija; matura, Kent College, Canterbury), a zatim u Austriji (Mag Artium, solo pjevanje, Univerzitet za glazbu i izvedbenu umjetnost, Beč), nakon čega djeluje kao solistica u opernim ansamblima nekoliko kazališta u Njemačkoj, te kao koncertna umjetnica. Nakon povratka u Hrvatsku posvećuje se glazbi iza scene, u svojstvu voditelja/organizatora projekata Hrvatskog društva skladatelja (Muzički biennale Zagreb, Jazz.hr, međunarodni projekti), a od jeseni 2021. bavi se komunikacijama HDS-a. U razmaku od deset godina ponovo konkretizira potrebu za umjetničkim izražavanjem te između ostalog počinje stvarati zbirku misli, kratkih priča i pjesama Izlog u izradi, koja se neprestano mijenja i nadopunjuje novim iskustvima. 2021., u godini čitanja, Izlog u izradi postaje izložba misli u suradnji s ilustratoricom Anom Mack, u sklopu autorskog projekta Ljeto uz knjigu 2021. (Muzej općine Jelsa). Godine 2021. s Lidijom Kraljević pokreće udrugu za kulturu i umjetnost, Zaviri u priču, koja izdaje slikovnicu za lakše čitanje Čarapna pustolovina (Gott/Kraljević). Godine 2022. projektom U potrazi za izgubljenim zvukom, istražuje zvukove koji su nestali iz gradske svakodnevice ili su potisnuti na periferiju (osmislila i napisala Mirna Gott, web stranicu oblikovao Bojan Gagić). Piše priče i poeziju koju objavljuje na društvenim mrežama. S obitelji živi i radi u Zagrebu i osmišljava nove projekte.
Mirna Gott was born in Zagreb. At the age of sixteen, she moved to Great Britain where she attained A-level qualifications at Kent College Canterbury on a full scholarship. She then moved to Austria to study classical singing (Mag Artium, Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Wien). Upon receiving her Master's degree in Vienna, Mirna pursued her singing career as a soloist at theatres in Germany as well as in concerts. Back in Croatia, she dedicates herself to music as manager/organiser of projects at the Croatian Composers' Society (Music Biennale Zagreb, Jazz.hr, international projects); since autumn 2021 she engages in communications of the same Society. With a distance of ten years, her need for artistic expression took a more defined shape in the form of a compendium of thoughts, short stories and poems Showcase under Construction, which is constantly being molded and new experiences added. In 2021, the National reading year in Croatia, Showcase under Construction became an exhibition of thoughts, in collaboration with illustrator Ana Mack, as a part of the project Summer by the Book 2021 by Gott (Jelsa Municipal Museum). In 2021, together with Lidija Kraljević, Mirna established a new Society for Culture and Art, Peek into the Story, which published the picture book for easy reading The Great Sock Adventure (Gott/Kraljević). In 2022 with the project In search of lost sound, she investigates sounds that have disappeared from the everyday life of the city or have been banished to the periphery (designed and written by Mirna Gott, website created by Bojan Gagić). She writes stories and poetry, which she publishes on social media. She works and lives in Zagreb with her family, continuously conceiving new projects.
